A modern place... with a 40-year history of passion and traditions
The Solo da Manduca pastry shop is located in Aprilia, a small town in the province of Latina, half an hour from Rome. Vito, the father, began working in the confectionery sector from an early age and never would have thought that from that moment on, he would no longer leave that path. In 1980 he opened his first laboratory. Riccardo and Damiano, the sons, have always known they had a task and have undertaken it with passion.
Solo da Manduca was born in 2020 as an artisan workshop and has won the trust of customers who constantly return to enjoy the desserts and creations of Riccardo and Damiano.
The passion for leavened products
For Riccardo and Damiano, the production of Great Leavened Products is not a simple job, it is a true passion. Panettone is the symbol of Christmas, Colombe is the symbol of Easter, they are the desserts that have always characterized the holidays. Combining maximum production efficiency with high quality standards. To do this, in addition to qualified master pastry chefs, we completed our expansion project in November 2022 into a modern exclusive artisan laboratory for the production of large leavened products.

In 2022 we participated for the first time in the festival which rewards the best artisanal panettone in the capital and Lazio, winning 2nd place in the traditional panettone competition and arriving among the best producers of large leavened products in Lazio.
